This is not a sit-and-get PD.
This is immersive, energizing, and transformative professional learning.
Join the CRR — in collaboration with the Arizona Teachers Academy at the University of Arizona — for a paid, four-day in-person experience designed for committed high school mathematics educators who believe in rich mathematical thinking and student-centered instruction.
Over four days, participants will:
- Engage deeply in meaningful, connected mathematics
- Explore high-impact, research-based instructional strategies
- Collaborate with passionate educators from across the region
- Design professional learning to bring back to their schools and departments
- Participate in a shared book study of Data Minds
Each day builds in sophistication as we explore Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, and Statistics through a data science lens – paired intentionally with a focus on student-centered pedagogy and reasoning.
Stipends are available for full four-day participants.
Breakfast and lunch are provided daily as part of our community-centered approach to professional learning.
Educators from outside Arizona are welcome to attend; however, an attendance fee will apply based on total workshop hours.
