Math Literacy ECHO for Early Childhood Educators

September 5, 2024

This virtual Community of Practice (CoP) will engage early childhood educators in mathematics content and practices that are relevant to their classrooms, allowing participants to see how to incorporate math into the everyday lives of their students.  This CoP is run in partnership with TREC and Project Echo.  Early childhood educators will collaborate together on learning about Cardinality, Measurement, Geometry, Algebraic Thinking, and Data Analysis, and on finding how to build these topics into an early childhood classroom!

Participants will…

  • Explore their personal attitudes towards mathematics and understand the connection between this and building children’s math success.
