Candelen has collaborated with the Bezos Foundation to offer a train-the-trainer series to members of the ECE community in Arizona. MITM training is a series of 8 learning modules covering the MITM’s 7 essential life skills that promote executive function based skills in children ages 0-8. Join us for this opportunity to not only learn about the 7 skills, but also gain the ability to train others in your community.
Discover tips and tools to help build executive function skills in young children based on the best selling book Mind in the Making: The Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs by Ellen Galinsky.
Participants will receive an Overview of the 7 Essential Life Skills presented as a learning journey, driven by science and built on relationships. Participants will be introduced to one Life Skill per session and learn how to apply them in their own life as well as how to promote the use of the skill with children. Participants will receive the materials needed to begin providing this training to others in their communities including teachers, caregivers, and families.
This training will take place in 2.5 hour sessions for 8 modules across two consecutive weeks.
