Summer Elementary Econ Book Fair (Self-Paced, June 1 – July 14)

For Grade K-5 Educators, Open to All

Elementary educators are charged with teaching their students literacy skills and economic principles – why not combine the two for maximum engagement? This self-paced professional development program will give K-5 educators an opportunity to explore six children’s books, accompanied by interdisciplinary lesson plans.

This program will consist of six 30-minute modules that will be sent out in pairs (one focused on K-2 and the other on Grades 3-5) every two weeks starting June 1. Current K-5 classroom teachers will receive complimentary copies of the book featured in each module they complete.

Participants can complete as many or as few modules as they would like and will receive a certificate of professional development at the end of the program indicating their total credit (0.5-3.0 PD hours).
