Supporting College Access, Learning, and Employment (SCALE)

Supporting College Access, Learning, and Employment (SCALE) is a U.S. Department of Education grant-funded program with the mission of empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate and thrive in higher education experiences. We work closely with local college campuses in Arizona to deliver personalized academic support services and resources. SCALE supports individuals with intellectual disabilities who are interested in pursuing an advanced degree, certification, or credential in any field from our partner institutions.

Partner Institutions:

Our team engages directly with college-bound students to foster an atmosphere of inclusion. SCALE students learn and engage with their non-disabled peers in inclusive academic settings. Each student is matched with a support team to create their individualized transition plan. The support team offers support through every phrase of transition, beginning with college preparation skill building; enrolling in and funding college; pursuing appropriate and necessary on-campus services and resources; career preparation; and finding gainful employment opportunities.
