Course Description:
CTE courses are performance-based. When teachers let students know exactly how their work will be evaluated, the students’ level of performance always improves. Come and participate in a hands-on activity that uses a rubric, determine where the rubric made a positive difference in your performance, and then design a rubric for one of your own student projects with guided support and feedback. Bring the assignment for one of your student projects and your current grading criteria for that project with you to help get this practical day started.

-Defend his/her differentiation between monitoring and assessing
